Aleksei has been a famous American actress, model, and dramatic performer in New York. Guarnaschelli battled Cat Cora on Food Network's Iron Chef America 2007 Farmers Market Battle. In the following years, she has appeared as Judge on the show and, in 2011, competed on The Next Iron Chef season four where she was the third runner-up. Also, she lost in the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. After the conclusion of The Next Iron Chef's 4th season,, she was appointed sous-chef by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She was the host of The Food Network program The Cooking Loft together with Alex Guarnaschelli. In this show, she instructed a group of small students on how to create new dishes from scratch.
