Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an Hollywood writer and actress who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. The Moore family has English as well as Scottish roots. Moore struggled due to the fact that her family was always moving due to her dad's employment. The family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of performances. Following the completion of her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her training. thesis in Theater. After graduating, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 she made her television debut on The Edge of Night. In 1986, she was cast in two characters of Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Turns. This role gave her an opportunity that ultimately led to her successful career. The show aired until 1988, when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later described as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her debut films. The films were critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for multiple awards. Moore landed her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The film was among the most watched films of that year. In 1999, she appeared in the critically acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG award for her role. She was in co-starring roles with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and others on The Hours, which was repeatedly nominated for Academy Awards. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore was a regular in many movies and TV series. Most recently, she was in prominent roles was In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. She has made her mark in Hollywood as well as being an author for children. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became an N.Y.T. The book was a huge best bestseller, and then was transformed into a television show and musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom Is A Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a renowned actor and a novelist. She was married to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore was later married in 2003 has two kids with her. Moore's main focus is her friends, family and career.
